Laundry Soap

1 year of laundry soap for less than $20. Use 1 T per load.

Ingredients
1 4 lb box Arm & Hammer Baking Soda (1.81 kg) found in the cooking isle

1 4 lb 12oz box Borax, found in the detergent isle

1 box Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda 55 oz (3 lb 7 oz), found in the detergent isle

3 bars of Fels-Naptha soap, found in the detergent isle (or Pink Zote)

3.5 lbs Oxy Clean, found in the detergent isle (optional)

Tools: Garbage bag, 5 gal bucket, container for your detergent and a spoon for it that’s the appropriate size.

Instructions: use the grater on your food processor for the bars of Fels Naptha. After theyre all grated, put the blade in to make it as close to powder as you can. Add that with the rest of the ingredients into the garbage bag in the 5 lb bucket. Stir as best you can and put into your container.

Note to self: this makes a cup or so more than what fits in the container. Have another small container on hand!

Will update with how long this lasts for our average of 5 loads of laundry per week.
